After years of using Lake Forest Home Care, I would like to recommend their services. Lake Forest Home Care is my go to agency when I need caregivers for The Regency residents. There was even a time when we used their services to augment facility personnel.
Among some of the reasons why I recommend their services are:
– Feedbacks from resident clients and facility caregivers indicate that personnel of Lake Forest Home Care know what they do compared to others. They are well trained and competent;
– In rare cases where there are issues regarding caregivers, all I need to do is discuss it with admin staff and they take care of the issue immediately;
– In time of emergencies, they step up and provide services within hours of notification;
– They also check the progress of assigned staff regularly;
– Last but not least is they are on call on a 24 / 7 basis for emergencies.

I want to thank you for your wonderful caregivers who help my mom Bernice. Mary and Anne have already made a difference for mom after barely two weeks. Mary is exceptional. She has engaged with Mom and the connection is so good for her. Mary has gotten Mom to agree to eat more, go for walks in the garden and go to the living room in The Regency. Mom seems much more comfortable. Anne is very good with Mom as well. Such an improvement over our previous caregivers.

I, along with my brother Mike and his wife Debbie (a nurse), have worked with a wide range of aids supporting our mothers complex needs for several years. We were confronted with a combination of pulmonary, heart and dementia issues, all compounded by a broken hip. This was no small task and a good deal of fast learning was required.
“Our caregiver arrived on the scene in three very complex healthcare environments where she represented our family at Saddleback Hospital, Villa Valencia Skilled Nursing Center and Aegis of Laguna Niguel Assisted Living.
“In every case, she was a thoughtful gentle leader and protector of our mother, while respecting the professionals surrounding her. The caregivers patience and excellent manner of communicating with these various organizations and in the end, with hospice, was a model for anyone to respect. At every turn in the road, over several weeks, she was present with the ability to read Mom’s thoughts and feelings and pain until her last breath. It was amazing for all of us to witness as a family.
“She was also sensitive to individual family members as they arrived from distant cities, making sure they were comfortable while all the time emanating a positive, caring disposition to everyone, no matter the stress level. The greatest compliment of all is when our Mom would turn to her continuously, to check signals and smile, knowing everything was going to be all right in her caregiver’s hands.
